Blazing New Trails drawings and other material
Original drawings for the book Blazing New Trails: The Biography of a Pioneer in Education (1937) by George Wilson Hoke. The collection includes 78 of the drawings used in Hoke's book, which traced the institutional history of the Rochester Institute of Technology. Also included are several book reviews and a brief biographical sketch of Hoke.
Hans Christensen drawings
Pencil drawings of designs created by Hans Christensen, the renowned silversmith and Rochester Institute of Technology professor. Five of the drawings are of a spice box, while one is of a ceremonial mace presented to Mark Ellingson.
RIT 150th Anniversary Art Show collection
Collection of artwork exhibited in the Rochester Institute of Technology's (RIT) 150th Anniversary Art Show. RIT celebrated its 150th anniversary in 1979. The collection includes works by both students and faculty done in a variety of media.
Michael Furman photographs
Four oversize photographs from the "Automobiles: Photographs by Michael Furman" exhibition held March 17 - April 7, 2011 in RIT's SPAS Gallery. Selected photographs were donated by the photographer, an alum of Rochester Institute of Technology(RIT). Furman's specialty is in studio lighting of classic cars. Cars represented in these photographs taken between 2004-2009 are a 1911 Hispano-Suiza, a 1947 Delahaye 135MS, a 1936 Bugatti and a 1932 Chrysler Imperial.
