The Deaf Women of Rochester collection contains administrative and governance documents, meeting minutes, correspondence, publications, newsletters, conference materials, event fundraising, photographic material, and sports documentation.
DVD and news clipping on Lauren Aggen's heart transplant. Aggen attended the National Technical Institute for the Deaf.
Nancy Rourke works of art consists of one original oil painting, and 3 poster size reproductions of other original pieces. These works of art were created in 2009 and 2010 by Nancy Rourke, a Deaf artist who attended the National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) and Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). In 2019 Nancy donated 2 original oil paintings - Monologues: Our Stories, No. 17 and No. 18.
The materials in this collection are comprised of eight scripts of plays performed by the Lights On! theater group and five VHS videotapes. The items were collected and donated by Patricia Durr an associate professor at NTID.
The Sally Taylor collection on the Citizens’ Police Academy consists of materials collected by Taylor during a twelve week course at the Rochester Citizens’ Police Academy. The collection consists primarily of handouts distributed during class, as well as photographs and news clippings.
Materials related to deaf educator Steve Baldwin's involvement with deaf theater, in particular with the play "Deaf Smith" about Erastus "Deaf" Smith. Baldwin is a certified teacher, published author, fundraiser, newsletter editor/writer, scriptwriter and history researcher.
