The Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) telephone directories include annual alphabetical listings of telephone numbers for RIT departments, faculty and staff. The directories begin in 1959 and continue through 2009, with some years missing. The 1965-1967 directories also include student phone numbers.

This collection contains portraits of Mechanics Institute (MI), Rochester Athenaeum and Mechanics Institute (RAMI) and Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) administration, faculty, staff and some students. The portraits comprise many formats and sizes; prints, slides, negatives and contact sheets.

Records of the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) Staff Council include records of the Interim Staff Council which was first formed in 1992 as the group to establish the foundation for the RIT Staff Council.

Materials related to the Rochester Institute of Technology Support Staff Advisory Board. This was an organization formed in the late 1980's with the intent to offer professional development opportunities to RIT staff members. The collection includes correspondence, promotional materials, financial records, newsletter and meeting minutes, as well as other paper records.

Collection of photographs and videotapes documenting library staff, events, construction of building addition, primarily from the 1980's-1990's until 2004. Staff photos are well identified. Also included in this collection are eleven videotapes and DVDs ranging from 1974-1995 containing content related to the Wallace Library, and four carousels of slides documenting a library orientation program.

Manual log scrapbook presented to Dr. W.W. Charters at a celebration dinner with secretaries, May 18, 1939 as a farewell tribute. This handmade scrapbook-like album contains poems, photographs and drawings from different departments at the Rochester Athenaeum and Mechanics Institute. (RAMI)
