The Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) Support Staff Advisory Board was formed under the direction of the Head of the Personnel Department sometime in the late 1980's. It was governed by an Executive Committee and divided into seven committees; Inter-Department Communications, Desk Manual, Newletter, Orientation, Special Activities, Professional Development, and Student Project.
