T. Alan and Vicki T. Hurwitz collection
Alan and Vicki Hurwitz were both employed at National Technical School for the Deaf (NTID) for many years. In 2013, they left to work at Gallaudet University. This collection includes several devices for communicating with the deaf, several coffee mugs from different events at NTID and cookbooks from different deaf schools across the U.S.
NTID Drama Club photographs
The National Technical Institute of the Deaf (NTID) Drama Club photographs contain photographic prints from various plays, practices, and events performed by the NTID Drama Club from the early 1970’s to the mid-1990s.
President Lyndon B. Johnson fountain pen
One of the fountain pens used by President Lyndon B. Johnson on June 8, 1965 to sign Public Law 89-36, the National Technical Institute for the Deaf Act.

Patti Durr collection of scripts and videotapes
The materials in this collection are comprised of eight scripts of plays performed by the Lights On! theater group and five VHS videotapes. The items were collected and donated by Patricia Durr an associate professor at NTID.

The collection includes two commemorative coins and two books related to deafness.
Thomas Raco collection of NTID art-related materials
NTID-related materials collected by Thomas Raco, an administrator at NTID for many years. The materials center around art at NTID, art curriculum, artists who attended NTID, an alums show at Dyer Art Center, articles and videotapes about deaf art and artists. Collection also includes sample artwork by deaf artist Morris Broderson.
Stan Zack photograph of Robert Panara and other performers
Collection consists of one framed color photograph with mat by photographer Stan Zack taken in 2012. Visible photograph dimensions are 11 3/4" x 7 3/4". Dimensions with frame included are 17" x 13". Photograph depicts Robert Panara, NTID's first deaf instructor seated, with eight other NTID performers around him. There are no additional materials in this collection at this time.
Robert Baker collection of NTID records and photographs
The collection of Robert Baker NTID records and photographs contains promotional materials, memorandums, advertisements, and photographs that relate to the NTID Dyer Arts Center and NTID. All materials within this collection were donated to the RIT Archive Collection by Robert Baker, the former director and curator of NTID’s Dyer Arts Center. Materials within this collection range from 1967 to 2007.
NTID Alumni Association (NTIDAA) records
The National Technical Institute for the Deaf Alumni Association (NTIDAA) records consist of materials that are related to the administration, activities, and events of the organization. Included are NTIDAA board meeting minutes, reports, and alumni correspondence, as well as promotional materials from events, anniversaries, and reunions of NTIDAA in Rochester and other alumni chapters. Materials within this collection range in date from 1968-2011.
