Dr. Varadaraja V. Raman physics scrapbook
A scrapbook documenting the activities of the RIT Physics Department during the 1976/77 academic year. The book contains photographs, articles, invitations, event announcements and department annual report.
Estelle Ellis Rubenstein papers
A collection of materials from graphic designer Estelle Ellis (1920-2012), includes client projects, correspondence, various publications, personal papers, conservation resources and documentation, article clippings, and audio-visual material.
Ezra R. Andrews papers
Papers of Ezra Andrews, president of the Board of Directors for the Rochester Athenaeum and Mechanics Institute from 1891-1899. The collection includes administrative and financial documents related to the Institute, as well as correspondence, ephemera, and clippings. The collection also contains materials related to Andrews work with several charities, specifically the Rochester Orphan Asylum.
Frederick W. Brehm deskbooks
Six books kept on the desk of Frederick W. Brehm, the Rochester Athenaeum and Mechanics Institute's first faculty member in the Photographic Technology Department. Brehm patented the Cirkut Panorama Camera in 1905.
Frederick W. Brehm Memorial Lecture records
Materials related to the Frederick W. Brehm Memorial Lecture program. The program was established in 1950 in honor of Frederick W. Brehm, a former professor in the Rochester Institute of Technology's department of photography. The collection includes programs, announcements, correspondence, clippings and other records.
Genesee Figure Skating Club records
The Genesee Figure Skating Club was founded in 1955 and its "home" has always been at RIT. The collection contains brochures, membership records, newspaper clippings, and letters about collaborative activities, events, and fundraising opportunities of the Genesee Figure Skating Club.
Gudrun Zapf von Hesse papers
The Gudrun Zapf von Hesse papers document von Hesse’s professional career as a bookbinder, calligrapher, and typographer in the 20th and 21st centuries.
Hermann Zapf collection
Hermann Zapf was a German type designer, typographer, calligrapher, author, and professor. He influenced type design and modern typography, winning many awards and honors for his work. Of note is Zapf’s work with August Rosenberger, a prominent punchcutter who cut many of Zapf’s designs.

This collection includes various records, correspondence and grant proposals related to RIT’s Institute Committee on Projects Relating to Productivity during the 1980's.
James J. Granato collection
Diploma and photographs of James J. Granato, a graduate of the Rochester Athenaeum in 1919. The collection also includes a brief biographical sketch, written by Granato's son, James M. Granato and a copy of the RIT Reporter from 1952.
