M. V. Atwood collection of political cartoons
The Millard Van Marter (MV) Atwood collection of political cartoons consists of two original drawings given to Mr. Atwood. One is a political cartoon drawn by Elmer Messner titled Waiting, the other a cartoon drawn by Charles Macauley titled The Homing Pidgeon and dated 1929. Both are signed by the creators. Also included is a copy of Mr. Atwood's obituary from 1941.
