RIT University Gallery collection
Scope and Contents
Donated to the RIT Archives in the spring of 2017 by Wendy Marks, the bulk of the University Gallery collection consists of promotional materials such as exhibition cards and posters. Other materials within the collection include artist statements, City Newspaper reviews, and other materials documenting exhibitions held at the University Gallery from spring 2011 to the present. These exhibitions range from student shows, such as the senior show for furniture design (2015), to professional artist exhibitions, like Josef Albers (2014) and Wendell Castle (2016). The collection includes posters from the Vignelli Legacy Lectures (2016) and other Design Conversations (2011) that center around the current exhibition content.
