RIT-ART. RIT Art Collection

Sculptures by RIT faculty member Frederick Meyer. Meyer was on the faculty at RIT for 35 years.

Collection consists of 1 sculpture, 1 maquette, and 1 photograph, all by Albert Paley. Renowned metal sculptor Albert Paley has been on the faculty in RIT's School of American Crafts since 1969.

Isac Friedlander woodcuts contain 13 prints created for 12 Woodcuts for Shakespeares Sonnets.

Gordon Hope Grant artwork contains 5 lithographs and 1 watercolor painting. Grant is known for his maritime subjects.

Stanley Gordon portraits contains 11 oil portraits of RIT related people.

Three woodcuts by Ukrainian artist Jacques Hnizdovsky (1915-1985).

Collection of 83 paintings and 24 drawings by artist and teacher David Lax. Lax was chair of the art department at Dutchess Community College.

Three etchings by artist Joseph Margulies (1896-1983). Margulies was known for his portraits, landscapes, and etchings.

Collection contains artwork created by Bea Nettles between 1969-1992. Formats include hand colored prints, artists' offset books, silver gelatin instamatic prints, dye transfer prints, photo-etchings, poster prints.

Assemblage and sculpture by Leo Kaplan, noted assemblage and collage artist.
