RIT Purchase Prize Art collection
The RIT Libraries Art Purhase Prize program has awarded purchase prizes to graduate students of the School of Art and the School of Design annually 1972. Works are purchased for the permament collection from MFA thesis exhibits.

Hobart Cowles lidded jar consists of one ceramic piece. Cowles was on the faculty in the School for American Crafts at RIT from 1951-1980.
National Association of Schools of Art and Design Self-Study reports
The collection includes a complete self-study report presented for consideration to the NASAD Commission on Accreditation by RIT's College of Imaging Arts and Sciences. Twenty-six programs or degrees were assessed for which Renewal of Final Approval was sought in 2015. Also included is a copy of the 1993 NASAD Self-Study report.
Robert H. Johnston digital audio recordings
Digital audio recordings of Robert H. Johnston during his time at RIT. Dr. Robert H. Johnston spent twenty years as a professor and administrator at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He eventually became the Dean of the College of Fine and Applied Arts. In 1990 he was named a Special Assistant to the President of R.I.T. Dr. Johnston most known for developing a system of using digital imaging to decode damaged and ancient texts including the Dead Sea Scrolls.
