Materials related to Linda Siple's research study of deaf characters and interpreters. Linda Siple is a professor in the ASL-English Interpretation Program at RIT/NTID. The collection includes VHS tapes of television programs and movies featuring deaf character and interpreters that she used for research.

Reports include plays performed for that year; biographies of actors, directors, and staff; images; and in later years, financial information. Ephemeral materials include a playbill, programs, and an issue of NTD News from 1997-98.

Collection of Compact Portable TDD, NTID Deaf Professionals Group newsletters and NICD bookmarks
Collection of three items received from RIT NTID librarian, Joan Naturale. The portable TDD was one used by Naturale, the bookmarks she collected, and the newletters were given to her by her brother, Tony Naturale who was a writer for the newsletter.
Mindy Hopper papers
The Mindy Hopper papers contain educational materials, paper documents, memorabilia and audiovisual materials relating to the Sapphires softball team as well as deaf women’s basketball and softball. Also includes memorabilia from Hooper’s athletic career. The bulk of the materials are from 1987 through 1999.
Edmund Lyon Memorial Lectureship collection
Contains materials related to the Edmund Lyon Memorial Lectureship series, held annually at the National Institute for the Deaf at Rochester Institute of Technology.
