Frans Wildenhain artwork consists of ceramic pieces, a mural, and an oil painting. Wildenhain was on the faculty in the School for American Crafts at RIT from 1950-1970.

The collection is a nine inch brown clay statuette of a madonna type figure. It was sculpted by RIT School for American Craftsmen professor Frans Wildenhain, and given to the donor.

The Paul Rankin collection of Frans Wildenhain sketchbooks and slides contains four books of sketches done by Mr. Wildenhain in the 1970's, approximately 154 slides of his sculptures, pots, and murals, several books and publications relating to the Bauhaus in Germany, Marguerite Wildenhain, and crafts, some in German.

Materials collected while assisting Bruce Austin with his project to create an exhibition of Frans Wildenhain's ceramics and exhibition book from September 2011 to October 2012.
