RIT Archives collection of Wildenhain exhibition materials
Scope and Contents
A collection of materials created by Jody Sidlauskas, Associate Archivist, while assisting Bruce Austin with research for his 2012 exhibition and book, Frans Wildenhain, 1950-1975: Creative and Commercial American Ceramics at Mid-century. The exhibition was held simultaneously in two galleries at RIT, Bevier Gallery and the Dyer Arts Center from August 20, 2012 – October 3, 2012. Included are promotional exhibition announcement postcards, brochures, buttons, and a complete exhibition packet with progress reports.
Collection also includes a CD containing fourteen images of Wildenhain's work from the Robert B. Johnson collection in the RIT Archives and elsewhere, including photo captions for each image. Copyright by A. Sue Weisler.

Biographical / Historical
While working with Bruce Austin on his Frans Wildenhain exhibition, Jody collected many of the promotional materials created for this event, as well as the quarterly reports updating the progress on the project.
