Paul Rand collection
Collection of materials from graphic designer Paul Rand. It includes extensive client publications: advertisements, posters, letterhead, brochures, and reports from clients such as International Business Machines and Westinghouse.
Ralph L. Hoag collection
Photos, correspondence, and publications of Ralph L. Hoag. Hoag served as Executive Secretary to the National Advisory Board that established the National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) at Rochester Institute of Technology.
Ralph W. Tyler Institute Self-study materials
Materials related to Dr. Ralph W. Tyler's work with the Rochester Athenaeum and Mechanics Institute, which was renamed the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1944. Tyler served as a consultant to the Institute on educational policy, curriculum design, and future planning starting around 1930 until 1970. The collection contains meeting reports, research notes, correspondence, publications, and a few other miscellaneous items.
RAMI Domestic Science Department records
The collection includes various documents, clippings, publications, financial records, enrollment records and board meeting information related to the Domestic Science Department at RIT. The collection spans from 1893-1989.
RIT 150th Anniversary Celebration collection
Materials related to the Rochester Institute of Technology's (RIT) 150th Anniversary Celebration. RIT celebrated its 150th anniversary in 1979. The collection includes planning documents, letters of solicitation, press releases, ephemera, and news clippings. A large portion of the collection relates to the RIT 150th Anniversary Campaign, a fundraising venture by the university. There are also materials related to the RIT Coast-to-Coast Run.
RIT 175th Anniversary Celebration collection
Materials related to RIT's 175th Anniversary Celebration, held in 2004. The Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) can trace its origins to the founding of the Rochester Athenaeum in 1829. The collection contains schedules of events, ephemera such as programs and calendars, special publications, and news clippings. Also included are the records of the Anniversary Planning Committee.
RIT Alumni Association class reunion records
This collection includes various documents, correspondence, publications and invitations related to the RIT Alumni Association Class Reunions. The collection spans the years 1958-1996.
RIT College Alumni Union collection
Materials related to the construction of the College Alumni Union on the Henrietta campus, as well as its use and activities. The facility was built as part of the Rochester Institute of Technology's new campus in 1968 and is now known as the Student Alumni Union. The collection includes publications such as brochures, correspondence, planning documents, printed policies, concert fliers, and clippings. There is also a dedication ceremony guest book and a scrapbook in the collection.
RIT School of Printing records
The RIT School of Printing records include general information on the school, course brochures, and a program proposal, as well as alumni directories and clippings. There are correspondence, publications from or about RIT, and promotional materials for printing conferences, seminars, and alumni reunions. Also included within this collection are style books and samples from the school. Materials range in date from 1920 to 2000.
