A group of twelve international printmakers were invited to use the RIT College of Art and Design printmaking studio for the "Artists Print!" event from May 15-21, 2022. They spent the week working with faculty, students and alumni to create mono-prints. This collected portfolio documents the work made during the event.
This is a framed color print by artist Alice Silver. Silver is a deaf American working in the visual arts. The print depicts a box of crayons with the word for deaf in many languages printed on each crayon.
The collection includes two framed color digital prints. "Flower Boy" depicts a geometric, stylized bust of a boy with a flower necklace. "Lady Signs Flower" depicts a geometric, stylized bust of a woman with hand signing "flower blossoming" in American Sign Language.
