Collection is a 21" x 21" fabric square used by a local interpreting organization at a workshop to explain the history of waving a handkerchief to signal applause from a deaf audience.

The collection contains one oil painting by Deaf Latinx artist Miguel Diaz Calderon. The painting depicts a orangish-blue skyscape/seascape composed of two background spheres and six floating islands. Islands with fauna contain various scenes: a lighthouse and boat; waterfall; fishing vessel over large fish and dock; crystals; a tree on a cube island; and at lower left is a painter seated in front of a canvas with a nude woman crouched in a cavern below.

The PAH! Deaf TV collection contains VHS tapes and DVD recordings of various programs created and produced by NTID students, presented in American Sign Language (ASL). The programs in this collection were made between 1994-1999.
