Scope and Contents
Grand opening of the Rochester Institute of Technology American Sign Language & Deaf Studies Community Center (RADSCC) featuring NTID President Gerry Buckley, RIT President Bill Destler, RIT Provost Jeremy Haefner, RIT Student Government President Greg Pollock and Kim Kurz, chair of the ASL and Interpreter Education program at RIT. The center is intended to provide a more visible common space on the RIT campus where deaf and hearing students, faculty and staff can unite and learn more about sign language and deaf culture. The event took place on January 19, 2011.
