Scope and Contents

The collection consists of five films produced or directed by the donor, and a sampling of business cards from his business. Two of the five films in the collection relate directly to the history of RIT and Cochran's time at the school. Below is a list of the film titles and dates.

Biographical / Historical

George M. Cochran graduated from RIT in the School of Photographic Arts and Sciences (SPAS) in 1964. He is the owner of Cochran Enterprises, a product marketing and visual media company. Mr. Cochran studied with Ralph Hattersley, Minor White, Drs. Leslie Strobel, Richard Zakia and CB Neblett. He later became a contributing editor with, Drs. Strobel and Zakia, for their photographic dictionary The Encyclopedia of Photography and Film,
