White, Minor

The George M. Cochran digital moving image collection consists of several films and business cards from Cochran's film and marketing companies. Cochran was a student at RIT in the School of Photographic Arts and Sciences in the early 1960's. The films are housed on optical discs (CD-ROM/DVD).

Photographs taken by Michael Geissinger during his time as a White House staff photographer for President Lyndon B. Johnson. The pictures capture both Johnson's political and personal life. The collection also includes a small file of biographical material which includes a typed transcript from an interview with Geissinger about RIT and the photo program.

Materials received from Richard Zakia, former Photography professor at RIT, on Minor White, a photographer and also a RIT photography professor. Materials include snapshots, photographs, and an unpublished manuscript of "Visualization Manual" by Minor White.

The Richard Zakia Correspondence collection contains letters, cards, and post cards to and from Richard Zakia.

Audio files related to the School of Photographic Arts and Sciences (SPAS) film The First Fifty. The film highlights the first fifty years of the School of Photographic Arts and Sciences. The collection includes audio recordings of interviews by Kevin Jergensen with prominent faculty members and students of SPAS.

Materials related to Stuart Oring, photography student at RIT from 1955-1959. The collection is focused on the "Picture Reading Resource Module," a computer program researched and developed by Oring, and includes CDs, teacher guides, and information books.
