Biographical / Historical

College of Graphic Arts and Photography (CGAP) was one of the six colleges organized in 1960, with three divisions: School of Photographic Arts and Science, the School of Printing (which has been renamed many times, the current name is the School of Media Sciences), and the Graphic Arts Research Center.

In 1992, College of Graphic Arts and Photography and the College of Fine and Applied Arts were combined to become College of Imaging Arts and Sciences, keeping the School of Photographic Arts and Science, School of Media Science, and some of the degree programs that had been provided.
