Historical Information: RAMI Golden Reunion
To celebrate and commemorate the anniversary of the change from the Rochester Athenaeum and Mechanics Institute (RAMI) to Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), the class of 1944 invited all graduates and those who attended RAMI to join in celebrating their 50th reunion and the name change from RAMI to RIT. The reunion was held July 8-9, 1994 and included campus tours, luncheon at the Athenaeum, evening dance and gala, breakfast, and Rochester city tour.
