StoryCorps interviews and transcripts
Set of three cds of interviews created for the StoryCorps project. StoryCorps is a nonprofit oral history project dedicated to documenting the lives of Americans of all backgrounds and beliefs.
TeleTypewriter (TTY) phones
The TeleTypewriter (TTY) phone collection consists of two phone systems. These are communication devices for the deaf. They were donated by the National Technical Institute for the Deaf.
Satoshi Fukushima biographical papers
The Satoshi Fukushima biographical papers include a current biography, vitae, correspondence and article written about Mr. Fukushima. There are copies of an interview with his wife in a Japanese magazine, two CD's detailing his life, and two books written in Japanese and signed by Mr. Fukushima.

Richard Mullins collection of Arsenic and Old Lace
memorabilia
Richard Mullins collection of “Arsenic and Old Lace” memorabilia contains a script, program, photographs and newsclippings about the 1942 production of “Arsenic and Old Lace” performed by Gallaudet University Dramatic Club performers at the Fulton Theater in New York City. This was the first play performed in a public theater by all deaf actors in sign language.
Nancy and Obed Sheffer movie projector
The collection consists of one Bell and Howell movie projector model #1585 used to view captioned films by members of the Rochester area Deaf community.
Lilac Rainbow Alliance of the Deaf records
Lilac Rainbow Alliance of the Deaf (LRAD) records contain newsletters, meeting minutes, correspondence detailing the activities of LRAD between 1991-1999. A 2010 brochure has been added to the collection.
Paula Grcevic collection
This collection is comprised of multiple donations from Grcevic, including Russian periodicals related to deaf/deafness, art located in NTID/Dyer, and articles about the Gallaudet new president scandal.
Robert H. Weitbrecht and James C. Marsters TTY modem
The Robert H. Weitbrecht James C. Marsters TTY modem collection contains two metallic boxes with electronic circuitry inside that made up the acoustic telephone coupler (now known as a TTY modem) used by Dr. James C. Marsters in the first TTY telephone call between two deaf persons (May 1964).
