Bausch and Lomb records
This collection contains an expense book, a scrapbook, a compilation of employee magazines and numerous clippings related to the history of Bausch and Lomb and especially to the celebration of the company’s 75th anniversary.
Early Institute miscellaneous records
The collection contains Board meeting announcements and invitations, and other documents ranging from 1847-1894 for the Rochester Athenaeum, Rochester Athenaeum and Mechanics Association, Mechanics Institute, and the Rochester Athenaeum and Mechanics Institute. Many of the documents are addressed to George S. Riley.
Henry Lomb Memorial scrapbook and program
Scrapbook commemorating the dedication of the Henry Lomb Memorial in downtown Rochester, NY. Henry Lomb was co-founder of Bausch & Lomb and a prominent citizen of Rochester during the late 1800s. The collection also contains a program from the dedication ceremony.
Henry Lomb Society records
Records of the Henry Lomb Society, an organization started in 1916 as an early honor society at the Rochester Athenaeum and Mechanics Institute. The collection includes various organizational documents such as the group's constitution and by-laws, memoranda, and speech transcripts, as well as newspaper clippings related to the organization's activities.
