Rochester Institute of Technology. College of Continuing Education

This collection contains materials related to Harold Kentner’s career with the College of Continuing Education (CCE) and RIT's Evening School; the introduction and development of the National Technical Institute for the Deaf; and the community outreach of Assistant Dean of the Extended Services Division of CCE at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Included are annual reports, correspondence, photographs, RIT publications and clippings relating to these subjects.

Records of the institutional Advancement Commission, an organization started in 1975 to determine the future direction of the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). The collection contains reports from the university's nine academic areas as well as background research on higher education and RIT's unique role. There is also some correspondence and a final report published by the commission.

The Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) College of Continuing Education banner is the official college banner used at commencement ceremonies during the 1990's. The College of Continuing Education was absorbed into the College of Applied Science and Technology in 1996.

The collection includes clippings, photographs, correspondence, promotional materials and advertisements related to the College of Continuing Education at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) covering 1966-1996. Also included are course offerings and program proposals, several publications produced by the College.
