Stationery

Collection of a scrapbook of bookplates printed by A. Colish Inc. (1908–circa 1980). Several loose materials include original drawings by Rockwell Kent that were then printed as bookplates by the Colish firm.

The collection consists of bibliographic files, writings, exhibition records, posters and client files of graphic designer Bradbury Thompson. Thompson was an award winning graphic artist and receiptient of the AIGA Gold Medal Award. In 1983, he received the Frederic W. Goudy Award from RIT.

Series I contains materials which relate to large companies and/or groups which Lou Dorfsman has either created, directed, organized or partaken in.

The collection contains writings and designs by Rand, including books, articles, posters, presentation booklets, and annual reports, from clients including IBM, Cummins and UCLA. The collection is separated by donor in order to preserve the source of the works, and then organized in two series: I. Client Correspondence, Project and Document Files; and II. Bibliographic Files.

Fred Troller collection contains materials from the distinguished American graphic designer and educator. It includes a vast amount of material ranging from sketches, mock-ups and proofs along with final printed projects including book jackets, promotional materials, packaging and posters for noted companies such as International Business Machines (IBM), Olympia, Sloan Kettering Hopsital, and CIBA.

Series IV contains materials which relate to Lou Dorfsman's personal life, outside of coporate and club responsibilities.

The Spiral Press Collection contains ephemera printed by the Spiral Press for various clients, both personal and corporate. Collection is organized by client, and then by genre. Objects include stationery, publications, book jackets, advertising materials, exhibition catalogs, and Christmas cards.
