RIT Center for Imaging Science records
Records of the Rochester Institute of Technology’s Chester F. Carlson Center for Imaging Science. The Center for Imaging Science (CIS) was founded in 1985 as a college that could provide students with the option of enrolling in imaging science. This highly interdisciplinary major consists of mostly physics, math, and computer science. These records include promotional materials, clippings, memos, and academic reports.
RIT Center for Integrated Manufacturing Studies collection

RIT Commencement and Convocation collection
RIT Convocation and Commencment records include planning documents, speakers addresses, and programs from 1892 to present. The collection includes paper records, photographs, videotape and DVDs.
RIT Commission for Promoting Pluralism records
The collection contains various records, correspondence, event guides, promotions and reports related to the Commission for Promoting Pluralism at RIT from 1985-2011.
RIT Gannett Lecture Series videotapes
The collection consists of videotape recordings of the Gannett Lecture Series held at RIT. The collection contains 191 videorecordings of various lectures sponsored by the program between 1987-2006.
RIT Men’s Hockey videotapes
This collection contains 37 videotapes of NCAA Division 3 Hockey games, most are RIT games but some are not. Many of the recordings are of championship games during the 1985-1986 season. Also included are 12 DVDs from the 2007-2008 season.
RIT New Student Convocation videotapes
This collection consists of VHS videotapes of convocations in 1999-2003, and one DVD for 2004. Convocation for New Students and Families is the official opening of the academic year. This ceremony formally welcomes students to the academic community.
RIT Office of Admissions videotapes
Collection of five videorecordings produced by the RIT Office of Admissions between 1975-1995 for the purpose of promoting the University and recruiting students.
RIT Presidents video recordings
Collection of videos from and about RIT’s past Presidents includes interviews, speeches and T.V. news coverage recorded between 1982-2008. These include Presidents Ellingson, Miller, Rose, Simone and Destler.
RIT Project EDGE videotapes
A collection of videotapes created by RIT's Educational Technology Center in 1995 to document Project Edge, a program launched with the help of a three-year grant from the National Science Foundation to eliminate discrimination by gender in education.
