W. W. Charters Institute Self-Study records
Papers from W. W. Charter's consulting project at the Rochester Athenaeum and Mechanics Institute (renamed the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1944). Charters was invited by the Institute in 1928 to help the college reshape itself for the future, with particular emphasis on educational objectives and curriculum development. The collection contains correspondence, meeting minutes, research materials, reports, and clippings.
Wendy Dannels collection on FIRST Robotics
The Wendy Dannels collection on FIRST Robotics contains items and documents collected by Dannels pertaining to the Rochester School for the Deaf's 2009-2010 FIRST Robotics competition team, RoboComm-X (Team 3162). Items include documents dating from 2009-2010 about the FIRST Robotics competition.

World War I activities collection
Documents related to the activities of the Rochester Athenaeum and Mechanics Institute during World War I. The collection contains a report on the Mechanics Institute's Student Army Training Corp and a list of individuals connected to the Mechanics Institute that were killed during the war. Additionally, the collection contains correspondence between the Mechanics Institute and the Rochester city historian regarding the Institute's role in wartime activities.
