3D printed prosthetic hand - prototype
This 3D printed prosthetic hand prototype is fully articulated and made from 3D printing plastics, latex, cord, and velcro. It is sized to fit a child's hand, and probably constructed to be operated by wrist movement.
80's Style Symposium videotapes
Collection of five videotapes of a three-day symposium sponsored by RIT College of Imaging Arts and Sciences on April 1-3, 1987. Each tape is a different speaker and the last is a panel discussion with all speakers.
Adrian Frutiger collection
The collection is primarily comprised of publications and ephemeral items with content by or about Frutiger. Included are copies of his books Cantique des cantiques de Salomon (1966), Type, sign, symbol (1980), and Des Signes et des hommes (1983), and Adrian Frutiger: son oeuvre typographique et ses écrits (1994). Works about Frutiger include Formen und gegenformen (1985), by Horst Heiderhoff. Also present are a few examples of his graphic design work.
Alex Steinweiss papers
Collection of materials from graphic designer Alex Steinweiss. It includes extensive client publications: advertisements, and posters mainly from his work for Columbia Records.
Alexander Bennett Metaproject collection
The Alexander Bennett Metaproject collection consists of all the process work for the development of The Invitation Chair, and a book which describes Metaproject 04 and all the student designs.
Alvin Lustig papers
The collection consists of examples and photographs of Lustig's design work, writings by and about him, and portrait photographs of him.
American Type Founders Company Bodoni Drawings
The American Type Founders Company Bodoni Drawings collection contains original working drawings used in the design and manufacture of the typeface ATF Bodoni released in 1909.
Andrew Miller Metaproject collection
The Andrew Miller Metaproject Collection consists of all the process work for the development of The Desktop White Noise Generator by Andrew Miller, and a book which describes Metaproject 02 and all the student designs.
Arnold Saks papers
The collection contains posters, annual reports, and brochures created by graphic designer Arnold Saks.
Athletics and Recreation Department collection on Hale-Andrews Student Life Center and RIT Hockey
Collection of materials deposited by Greg Moss, Director of Department of Athletics and Recreation at RIT that document the development and construction of the first student life center and field house on campus through photographs, records, some blueprints and a specification manual. Also included are newsclippings documenting the 2009 men's and women's ice hockey season, and a tiger mascot costume affectionately named "Grandpa Ritchie," and the recreational "bubble."
