The Gene & Helen Federico collection contains work and correspondence from both the husband and wife duo of graphic designers, active from the 1950s to the 1990s. Overview
The Bob Cato papers document Cato’s role as a graphic designer, artist, and photographer. His work designing record album covers helped turn them into forms of contemporary art and won him two Grammys. He is also known for his creation of the “Charlie Girl” image for Revlon, and photographs of top recording artists of the 20th century.

Scope and Contents
Collection consists of postcards, stamps, announcements, music packaging, two compact music discs, and one LP vinyl record. This ephemera pack was purchased through the 2017 Kickstarter campaign for a monograph about Independent Project Press, and its printer, Bruce Licher.
