From the Series:

This series contains project proposals, art prints, paste-ups, sketches, exhibit books, magazines, notebooks, correspondence, tear sheets, paintings, 2D collages, 3D collages, sculpture, and framed art. The sculpture, located in the Dudley A. Weiss Reading Room, may be related to Florentine Lessons art series. Refer to the records/record jackets in Series I to see what records exhibit Cato’s art. Note that the book titled “Cato Bio” in Series IV, Subseries B also contains some sketches. The proofs for American Flyer are in flat file drawer 5.8, folder 3. Please note that at this time the total number of rolled canvases cannot be confirmed. For more information about framed art, refer to this spreadsheet.

VHS and DVD materials require advance notice to access and are limited to on-site researchers only. Access to additional film and digital media cannot be provided. Access to portions of this collection is RESTRICTED and subject to the discretion of the curator. The 16mm color print with optical soundtrack is RESTRICTED due to needing special handling. Sketchbooks and scrapbooks in this collection are extremely fragile and require careful handling.
