The first Graduate Studies program at the Rochester Institute of Technology was established in the late 1950's under President Mark Ellingson, with many more programs emerging rapidly after. This collection contains clippings and various records pertaining to graduate studies at RIT.
RIT Oversight Study Group records
The collection contains records pertaining to the Rochester Institute of Technology Oversight Study Group on Classified and Proprietary Research (OSG). The OSG was formed in response to the RIT-CIA controversy that ultimately lead to the early retirement of President M. Richard Rose in 1992. These records include announcements and a newspaper article.
Barbara Cowles collection on Shop One
The Barbara Cowles collection on Shop One contains materials about the retail store that featured handmade crafts by RIT professors, as well as other craftsmen in the Rochester area and beyond.
