NTID Media Production records
Scope and Contents
The NTID Media Production Department records collection contains curriculum, publication samples, and annual reports related to the National Technical Institute for the Deaf at Rochester Institute of Technology. The bulk of the materials are curriculum related to helping and/or working with deaf and hard of hearing individuals. A portion of the curriculum included in the collection relates to the Career Development program, a special federally funded project run by Dr. Judy Eggleston-Dodd, which created workshop materials to educate teachers about the best methods for instructing deaf students. The curriculum types vary throughout the records, including publications related to machine tools, telecommunications, and various other topics. The publication samples contain a similar range of subjects.
