The Ad Hoc Study Group on Institute Information (ASGII) was created on February 8, 1995 at the direction of Dr. Albert Simone, president of the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) from 1992-2007. Since the group was chaired by William J. Stratton, it was referred to as the "Stratton Committee."
