Biographical / Historical
In 1982, the Student Television Network was established at National Institute for the Deaf (NTID). The Network allowed students to work and experiment with program formats. Although student interest declined after several years, a similar program, PAH! Deaf TV began in the Fall of 1994 at NTID, with programs presented in ASL, covering campus, national, and international news. In 1997, Deafvines: A College Life Soap Opera was produced through PAH! Deaf TV and the Student Television Network.
