Biographical / Historical
The Australian Theatre of the Deaf (ATOD) was established in 1979. The Theatre focuses on performing the classics, and performances often include sign language, voice over, mime, and/or hearing actors. ATOD has performed all over the world. In its thirty years, the company has given over 18,000 performances to Australian schoolchildren alone.
