Biographical / Historical
Born deaf, Susan Dupor grew up in Madison, Wisconsin. She attended RIT and studied illustration before transferring to the Art Institute of Chicago where she finished her BFA. Dupor has participated in several exhibitions and has published several articles on deaf culture and the arts. She returned to RIT and earned a Master’s of Science in Deaf Education and Art Education, a joint program with the University of Rochester.
Susan Dupor currently teaches art at the Wisconsin School for the Deaf.
