The Alec Hazlett ceramic vessel collection includes a ceramic piece created by Alec Hazlett. Hazlett was a 1971 and 1972 graduate of RIT, earning both his bachelors and masters degrees in ceramics. The urn-like piece has multi-color glazes and is seated on an attached pedistal.

Biographical / Historical
A native of Chicago, Alec Hazlett earned both his bachelor's (1971) and master's (1972) degrees in ceramics from RIT. After graduating, Hazlett taught classes on pottery at the Memorial Art Gallery. He also exhibits at fairs and art shows including the Clothesline Art Show, the Corn Hill Neighborhood Art Festival, and the Waterfront Art Festival in Canandaigua.
