Biographical / Historical

Myoung Lim Lee received her MFA at RIT in 1991. She taught at several Korean Universities and is now working as a "free artist" according to her accompanying letter. She also indicated that she especially remembers the library at RIT.

Overview

Korean artist Myoung Lim Lee donated her guache painting The Apricot to RIT. The painting depicts bright orange apricots on white BFK paper. The artist included the exhibit catalog for the piece as well as a letter briefly describing her time at RIT.

Arrangement

The collection consists of one painting. The exhibit catalog and letter from the artist are stored in Box 6 of the Peter Giopulis files on Art on Campus.
