Charlot Bowman drawings contain 16 illustrations created for 2 publications. There are 10 illustrations on 6 leaves for Pippin's House, written by Constance Savory in 1931. These are numbered by page: title page, 19, 43, 53, 87, 103, 121, 137, 156, and 165.
The second set of illustrations were created for American Women Poets 1937, edited by Margery Mansfield. Depicting mythical themes, these are also numbered by page: title page, 6, 23, 91, 117, and 215.

Biographical / Historical
Charlot Bowman was born September 7, 1904 in Philadelphia. In the 1920s, she attended the Rochester Athenaeum and Mechanics Institute, a precursor to Rochester Institute of Technology. She graduated in 1926 with a degree in Fine Art and Design. Bowman died June 10, 1992 in Rochester, New York.
