Collection of RIT student ephemera

 Collection — Box: 1
Identifier: RITArc-0521

Scope and Contents

The collection contains miscellaneous student activities ephemera dating from between 1952-1954. The items include dance cards from RIT sponsored dances, awards programs, and a cheerleading sweater letter. Dance cards from the Harvest Moon Ball, Fantasia and April in Paris were a souvenir for recording who you danced with, what you wore and the flowers you carried. The programs are from the annual RIT Sports Banquet and Awards Assembly.

The cheerleader emblem features a blue "R" and gray cheerleading megaphone. In the 1950s, RITs colors were blue and gray and they were known as the Techmen.
