Scope and Contents

The RIT Homecoming Weekend records contain a wide variety of records relating to the planning and organizing of the event. A large portion of the collection consists of committee lists, meeting minutes, invitations, correspondence and programs. All materials are contained within 29 folders which are organized by the year of the event and then chronologically within each folder.

Biographical / Historical

The RIT Homecoming Weekend was an event held annually in the fall, to welcome new students and acknowledge alumni. Hosted by the Alumni Association, the weekends would include campus tours, football or soccer games, the annual homecoming banquet and the annual alumni ball. The event is now known as Brick City weekend and is held each October.
