RIT Constructive Criticism Campaign report
Scope and Contents
The RIT Constructive Criticism Campaign report contains the answers to the questions as provided by faculty, students, staff and administrators. Students often criticized teachers grading policies, lack of elective choices (mainly in the liberal arts, such as foreign language and philosophy courses), and changes in schedules. The administration and faculty seemed to focus more on the lack of respect students had for school property. This report illustrates the various issues that the institution faced during this time period.

Biographical / Historical
The first constructive criticism campaign took place at RIT in March of 1959. Led by the Campaign Committee, the purpose was to collect as much information from staff, faculty, students and administrators about potential changes to make RIT a more successful, reputable university. Two questions were asked: "What can the students do to make RIT better?" "What can the administration do to make RIT better?" All of the anonymous responses were organized and compiled into a large report.
