RIT academic calendars
Scope and Contents
RIT academic calendars contain 2 folders of assorted calendars issued by RAMI and RIT from 1930 through 1995 for student use. The first folder, Institute Calendars, Co-op Calendars and Course Calendars, pertain to co-operative programs, important dates for departments and institution calendars that highlight the important days to remember throughout the year. The second folder contains pocket sized calendars that were distributed to students highlighting important dates throughout the academic year. Some of the calendars contain information for co-operative courses, while some are specific to individual departments, such as Photographic Technology, Applied Art or Retailing.

Biographical / Historical
Rochester Athenaeum and Mechanics Insitute (RAMI) and Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) have always distributed detailed calendars for students with major dates related to the academic year, including holidays, registration days, days tuition is due and start and end dates of quarters.
