Scope and Contents

The Plan of Work Seminar records and audiocassettes consists of one folder and one box of seven audiotapes. The records contain various memos describing the objectives and expectations of the seminar. There is also various correspondence and notes from RIT President Paul Miller. Miller expressed 10 goals and implications to be discussed. He also expected institute departments to state their objectives and enumerate their plans to make RIT more successful. The seminars took place on June 9, 12 and 17th, 1970, and were broadcast on RIT/TV Ch.2.

Biographical / Historical

The Plan of Work seminar was organized in 1970. RIT’s new president, Dr. Paul Miller, formed a committee to describe the basic objectives of the University and improve internal communications. This was an important opportunity for Miller to present his new ideas regarding the development and growth of RIT.
