Scope and Contents
The RIT faculty and wives visit Kodak Park photo album contains 8 x 10 inch black-and-white photographs from the November 7, 1949 visit to Kodak Park in Rochester, New York. There are a total of 13 images in the scrapbook. The tour gave faculty behind the scenes look at synthetic organic chemistry labs and metal shops. There was also a dinner in the Kodak Park service dining room and staff members of Kodak shot movies during the dinner, which they developed in 11 minutes using, “ Hot Development Process.” Photographs are labeled and people identified.

Biographical / Historical
Rochester Institute of Technology faculty and their wives were invited to a formal tour and dinner at Kodak Park by the Eastman Kodak Company. The tour was announced on October 31, 1949 in the Democrat and Chronicle and over 200 faculty and their wives went to the event. The tour and dinner took place on November 2, 1949.
