Scope and Contents

The University Publications collection documents the events, activities, and academics at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). It includes samples of materials published by University Publications and deposited in the RIT Archive Collections. Range of years is undetermined, although materials were consistently deposited from about 2005 to the present. Some older publications, such as course catalogs, can be found dating back to the early 1900's.

Some example of printed materials are sports viewbooks, department promotional brochures, commencement pamphlets, RIT University magazine, NTID Focus, and course catalogs.

University Publications department at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) staff of writers, editors, designers, and Web/production specialists have extensive experience in both print and interactive media services. Their services include writing and editing, design, photography, print management, and Web programming. Some of the types of marketing materials they produce are print ads, brochures, posters, annual reports, websites, newletters, invitations and more.

Some examples of printed materials are sports viewbooks, department brochures, commencement pamphlets, RIT University magazine, NTID focus, course catalogs.
