Scope and Contents
The Julian Yudelson records on School of Retailing contain documentation of proposed curriculum development for the School of Retailing in the mid-1970's. Dr. Yudelson served as the chair of the Retail Program committee whose charge was to determine the future direction of the retailing program at RIT during the 1970's. Papers include correspondence, committee meeting minutes, office memos to retail faculty, planning documents, course outlines and syllabi.
Julian Yudelson was also a member on the Institute Committee on Effective Teaching from 1986-1988. His records include committee meeting minutes and correspondence.
One folder is dedicated to materials about the services offered by the RIT Educational Support and Development Division.

Historical Information: School of Retailing
The Retailing Department at Rochester Athenaeum and Mechanics Institute (RAMI) began in 1923, and grew to become the School of Retailing at Rochester Institute of Technology in 1961. In 1979 the School was merged into the Marketing program.
