Biographical / Historical

The RIT Photographic Document project was a collaborative endeavor of the School of Photographic Arts and Sciences (SPAS), and the RIT Archives. In the fall of 2007, RIT Archivist Rebecca Simmons approached SPAS colleagues with a proposal to invite students and faculty to participate in a photographic survey of RIT. Twenty SPAS students contributed to the project, members of a freshman Photographic Arts course and an upper-level Fine Art Photography class. The resulting work was displayed in conjunction with IMAGINE RIT: Innovation + Creativity Festival.
