Historical Information: RIT Libraries 2005-2010 Strategic Plan

In 2004, Rochester Institute of Technology began work on a campus-wide strategic plan, Category of One University: Uniquely Blending Academic Programs with Experiential Learning for Student Success. To coincide with the greater university strategic plan, the Wallace Library created its own proposal based on the question, "What can we do to improve library service for the university community?" Meetings began in July, and staff identified four directions to meet the goal:

Increase support of undergraduate education and student success

Increase support for graduate research

Increase support for faculty scholarship

Establish the Wallace Library as a center for RIT culture and information services
