Biographical / Historical
RIT founded the U.S. Business School in Prague, Czech Republic in 1989 and continued to operate of school until 2005. It was the first school in the Czech Republic to grant a graduate degree in business. Other American universities supplied faculty to teach in the Prague program such as Northwestern, Carnegie-Mellon, University at California at Los Angeles and Washington University in Saint Louis. By 2005, RIT's College of Business was experiencing surprising growth so they decided to pull out of the Prague program to focus resources in Rochester.
